You decide to draw more often, but the sketchbook is somewhere in a cupboard and the pencils need sharpening. The first session begins with several small searches.
Prepare the tools for one repetition. Choose a place where they are easy to reach and safe to keep. Write what you will do first: sketch the cup on the table, copy a short exercise or practise one familiar shape.
Try the arrangement once
Use the setup at a time that fits your day. Notice which preparation helped and what was still missing. A practice involving shared space may need an agreement about when the table is available.
At the end, leave the tools ready for the next session where possible. If the setup is inconvenient to maintain, simplify it before adding another goal. You can keep a small portable kit rather than a permanent workstation. The first repetition gives you information about the arrangement you need, including the parts of the routine that sounded easy until you tried them.
