A work schedule, household need or move changes the hours you have available. Your earlier plan still sits in the notebook with the same dates. Following it now would require time that the new circumstances no longer leave open.
Review the assumptions behind the plan. Identify which hours, resources or support have changed. Keep the goal if it still matters, then adjust the actions to fit what is available today.
Choose what to postpone deliberately
If the revised plan cannot contain every part, choose what will wait and when you will reconsider it. Tell anyone relying on a date that the arrangement has changed. A smaller commitment is easier to coordinate when people know about it.
After a few weeks, check the new plan against your actual schedule. Some changes settle quickly and others remain unpredictable. Use the experience you now have rather than treating the original estimate as a measure of how well you should be coping with a life that no longer follows its assumptions.
