You finish a worksheet, guide or set of notes and save it in the project folder. The result is ready, but the person who needs it does not know where it is. Work that could help an ordinary task remains separate from the place where that task happens.
Name the intended use and the person who needs access. Put the final version in an appropriate location and explain what it contains. Check that the link or file opens for the intended recipient.
Retire the confusing versions
Label drafts or move them away from the finished result so people can identify the current copy. Keep a brief date or version note when the information is likely to change. Avoid deleting records you need to retain.
After the first use, ask whether anything was missing or difficult to find. You may need a small adjustment rather than another full project. Include this handover in future plans so that finishing means both making the thing and giving it a practical place in the activity it was meant to support.
