An application is declined and you want to respond by changing everything immediately. You may not yet know why it was unsuccessful. A single result can contain useful information without explaining your whole ability or every future opportunity.
Read the response carefully when you are ready. Identify any specific feedback and separate it from reasons you are only guessing. If asking for clarification is appropriate, send a short question through the stated channel.
Pick one relevant change
Review the application against the requirements. You may need a clearer example, another document or a different kind of opportunity. Choose a change that addresses something you can observe rather than rewriting the entire application to fit an imagined objection.
Decide when to make the next attempt, leaving enough time for the change and ordinary recovery from disappointment. Keep a copy of the submitted material so you can compare versions. If the feedback gives no useful detail, avoid inventing a certainty that the response itself does not provide.
